Groovy Gripper Giveaway

I get approached by a lot of companies about a lot of products for babies and children.  Some of them are big companies, some are small, but I was so surprised to find one request by a mum I know from the playground.  And I have to say – her product is great!  There’s something cool about knowing the person behind a product.  I can see the time, love and dedication that has gone into making her idea a reality.

I’m happy to introduce you to the Groovy Gripper!  Basically the Groovy Gripper is a handle you attach to rusks or fruit to stop your child dropping it while eating.  I don’t know about you, but we’ve certainly donated our fair share of rusks to supermarket floors over the years!  I like that the gripper also has a fork and spoon attachment which you can use as baby transitions to self feeding.  It’s BPA free, of course, and you can just throw it in the dishwasher!!

Thanks to my lovely friend I am giving away a Groovy Gripper plus fork and spoon attachment to one lucky SquiggleMum reader.  Just leave a comment below.  Simple.  If you’re interested in hearing more about this new product, make sure you follow the girls over on their facebook page too.  (They have giveaways monthly for fans.)

You know the regular deal… Aussie residents only, one entry per person, random winner drawn Friday 13/8/10 8pm Qld time.

THIS COMPETITION HAS NOW CLOSED

Congratulations Karen – a Groovy Gripper is heading your way!

As a Mum to 4, Grandmother to 6, Great Grandmother to 1, carer for many more (often with disabilities) I have needed this inovative tool many times. I still need one as many little ones still come to visit. Love that it is bpa free.

And I also love it when you meet the person behind the idea… very inspiring. Trouble is, I’ve often thought of great inventions only to find (thanks to Google) that someone else has already invented it! Doh!
