Innovation on a Washing Basket
Thursday 19 November 2009

I’m playing Toddler Translation with Childhood 101 this week, and today’s word is innovation. Has your child come up with a creative innovation you’d like to share too?
n innovation [inəˈveiʃən]
(the act of making) a change or a new arrangement.
-The Web Dictionary
Washing Basket + Cardboard = AEROPLANE
Step 1 – ask Mum for two cardboard triangles
Step 2 – attach with copious amounts of masking tape
Step 3 – climb in
Step 4 – start your engines and prepare for take off..!

I love the way children think! What a cool plane and I bet she loved the tape best of all!
Thank you for playing along.

That is a good one! I wonder what inspired that one.
I wish I had a photo but one of the boys this week decided to be a turtle……not for long. He wedged or got wedged ( never did find out which) the laundry basket over him and moved across the room before being tackled by his youngest brother.

what a great innovation …must do this , it’s going to be hot tomorrow and a little flying might keep temper from frying.
