Lots of Love

Following the birth of a friend’s baby, Little Miss 3 and I were talking about names. I told her about how her name was chosen, and why it was special. We talked about choosing her baby brother’s name too. And then we talked about my name. I think I’ll always remember this sweet conversation:
Me: Everyone has a special name that their Mummy and Daddy choose for them.
LM3: Do you have one Mummy?
Me: Of course. You call me Mummy, but what do my friends call me?
LM3: I can’t remember…
Me: Well what does Daddy call me?
LM3: Sweetie?
Awww…. there’s a lot of love in this family. Hope there is in yours too

Actually, he does call you sweetie a lot! Although I remember one family day when someone called out “honey” and both you and mum (nana) answered!!
