Happy as a Piglet in Mud
There’s a park not far from us with fabulous playground equipment, and we often enjoy going there with other mums and kids. It has ground level equipment which is fantastic for young toddlers. They feel like they are climbing but their feet are never more than 10cm off the ground. The park has a nice, wide, toddler friendly slide. And a tunnel. It has a big fort in the middle for older kids. It has swings, and a flying fox, and spinning things. It’s nicely landscaped with walking paths, bridges, stepping stones and a creek. And it has plenty of seating and shade. Really a fabulous park.
I lost sight of Little Miss 3 for a moment while I was removing a “rusk” (stick he picked up off the ground…) from my son’s mouth. I scanned my eyes over the playground, looking for my daughter’s pigtail plaits. Just as I was starting to feel worried, I found her…
All of that amazing equipment, and where was my child? In the mud! Her pigtails bobbed up and down as she jumped, stomped, sloshed and splashed in a huge muddy puddle.
We love the park.

I wondered how long it would take you to post this. It sure was a classic moment … Michaela was having a wonderful time too stomping in the mud with Lil. They sure were 2 very muddy pairs of boots LOL
@Bernadette
Are Michaela’s boots ok?! LOL
I must admit I thought this one was going to go up quicker.
