And you know… even when we think we know how things work… in my experience that is when something suddenly changes and we have to re-learn it all over again. I think that is what makes us human

Seems to me that our growth spurts as moms are about a half-step behind our children’s. Just as soon as we figure out how to handle our baby, they turn into a toddler- and we have to learn what that’s all about. No wonder we’re always tripping and stumbling!

I think knowing you don’t know it all is a gift and makes you a better parent and person. Bring on the mummy growth spurts… I just hope they are not as awkward as my childhood growth spurts!
