I Am Not Perfect
I am not a perfect person. Just someone who tries hard, loves life, and wears a smile – most of the time.
I am not a perfect Christian. Just someone who knows she needs God in her life.
I am not a perfect mum. Just someone who is willing to share her parenting experiences with others.
I am not a perfect wife. Just someone who loves her husband as much on the bad days as on the good.
I am not a perfect writer. Just someone who likes words and hates typos.
I am not a perfect housekeeper. Just someone who believes in keeping things clean enough to be healthy while understanding that fun is messy.
I am not a perfect blogger. Just someone who is enjoying the learning curve and choosing to stick at it.
I am not a perfect MOPS coordinator. Just someone who loves mums and coordinates a great team.
I am not perfect. I’m just me.
I know what you’re thinking. No one expects me to be perfect.
No one expects you to be perfect either. So why do we put so much pressure on ourselves? This week let’s let go of perfect, and just be the women, mothers, wives, writers, bloggers, leaders… that we were created to be.

our pastor said in a sermon a while back something that resonated with me—when God created the whole world, the word he used to describe it was “good”, so why do we try so hard to be perfect?
