Did you know that tomorrow is Drawing Day? I could put this post up tomorrow, but then you wouldn’t have time to think about which drawing idea you’d like to try with your kids – and participate! As the daughter of an artist, I grew up with lovely materials to draw with and art was valued. Here are 10 different materials you could try with your kids tomorrow to participate in Drawing Day:
1. Draw with charcoal – I remember doing this one with Mum. It was messy (not that it bothered us), but exciting to draw with something so different.

I’m yet to meet a mum who hasn’t struggled with tantrums through the toddler years, but some of us seem to have a rougher time with it than others. My daughter and I have had some really tough days. She’s a beautiful-hearted little girl, but she can really turn it on!

It was a dreary day today for the start of winter, so we stayed indoors and played. That’s one of the nice things about being a SAHM! My three year old and I had a lovely time drawing together and it somehow evolved into a variation of I Spy (or is it Eye Spy?)
